John M. LeRoux is a Florida native and has practiced law in his home state since 1988.  Mr. LeRoux has focused on the representation of property owners in eminent domain matters and has acted as outside counsel to selected condemning authorities over the years.  

Mr. LeRoux began his professional career with the firm of Jones, Foster, Johnston & Stubbs, P.A. in West Palm Beach, Florida. After relocating to the Tampa Bay area, Mr. LeRoux continued to dedicate his practice to eminent domain matters at Gaines, Hellinger & LeRoux. In 1997, he founded Policastro & LeRoux, P.A. with Anthony Policastro. Mr. LeRoux has extensive condemnation and inverse condemnation litigation experience and has successfully litigated complex multi-million dollar eminent domain matters. Mr. LeRoux recently appeared on Tampa Bay action news ABC affiliate regarding the Pinellas County School Board’s acquisition of property for Largo High School expansion.   

Mr. LeRoux is a member of the Florida Bar, Florida Bar Eminent Domain Committee Association, Association of Eminent Domain Professionals, American Bar Association, Clearwater Bar Association, and the American Association for Justice. Mr. LeRoux is a graduate of the University of South Florida and Stetson University College of Law where he was a member of the Stetson Law Review.
